A well-respected institution is seeking a Nurse Clinical Instructor specializing in Obstetrics. This position involves delivering clinical instruction, assisting with curriculum development, and providing student support in a dynamic educational environment.

Essential Job Functions:

  • Deliver 3-14 contact hours of clinical instruction in Obstetrics per week.
  • Provide regular tutoring and skills assessments to support student learning.
  • Collaborate with other nursing faculty to develop and evaluate course materials and assessments.
  • Participate in mandatory faculty meetings.
  • Teach courses at scheduled times, which may include days, evenings, and weekends across multiple campuses.

Qualifications:

  • Master’s degree in Nursing required.
  • Must hold a current RN license valid in Wisconsin.
  • Preference given to candidates with a specialty in Obstetric nursing.
  • At least 2 years of clinical experience in Obstetrics.
  • Experience in higher education teaching is preferred.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and other relevant computer software.
  • Demonstrated commitment to professional development, student success, and teamwork.
  • Ability to connect effectively with a diverse student population in a career-focused educational setting.
